On Saturday, we drove south to the San Lorenzo Canyon Recreation Area. San Lorenzo Canyon is one of those not-too-far-away areas that I tend to forget about – but this time of year it’s a great outdoor destination when you want a relaxing, unplanned, day outside. And because I’m a plant dork, I was psyched to see all the spring blooms. It was cool to see lots of plants that are commercially propagated for xeric gardens in their native habitat.
